BRYAN, TX — As deaths tolls across the state, and country, continue to rise, funeral homes, are reaching their limits doing all they can to keep bodies, out of freezers.
Currently, California is seeing death rates as they’ve never seen before, earlier this month, a Southern California funeral home began asking for volunteer embalmers.
“We were informed of a funeral home there, that ordinarily, they are a small funeral home, they only require one embalmer. But because of the pandemic now, they have so many loved ones coming into their funeral home, but they are not able to care for them quick enough so what they needed was an embalmer,” says Amanda Valenzuela Gittelman, Managing Partner of Hillier Funeral Homes.

SIMMONDS Trevor Alan Sadly passed away on 7th December 2020. Trevor was very much loved by his family and friends and will be missed dearly but never forgotten. The funeral will be held on 29th December 2020 in Northampton. We ask kindly for no flowers but donations to Cancer Research UK very welcome. Forever in our hearts until we meet again rest in peace
 
AQEEL Malik Passed away at home on 9th December 2020 aged 72 years. Much loved husband to Margaret and a loving dad to Tara and Russell. He will be dearly missed.
 
DAVIES Sonia Passed away suddenly and peacefully at GWH 10th December aged 84 years. Sonia was much loved and respected by family and friends. She will be sadly missed by Alec, children; Helen, Barry and Michael, grandchildren; Jasmin, Kiah, Erim and Diren, great-granddaughter Alyssa, sister Gaynor and family. Obituary: Colin Haydon - a pantomime performance sparked romance that lasted six decades


It was a romance that started in rehearsals for a youth pantomime and lasted for more than six decades.
Colin Haydon spotted Margaret when he and his mates went to the youth centre to do gymnastics and show off to the girls. She was there playing table tennis, but she wasn’t impressed by his antics.
It was only after she was cast as principal boy in a show that featured Colin and his brother Jack as tumblers that she really began to notice him. As the weeks went by the attraction flowered into a full-blown romantic connection that eventually led to a marriage lasting 61 years until Colin’s death.
