Gusts of 120 miles an hour. we're expecting to see storm surge anywhere between 6 and 12 feet. just to give you an idea, where i'm standing right now is on a platform outside a hotel. this platform is about ten feet above the beach. so if you can imagine this is ten feet. the water levels are supposed to rise even higher than that. so the rainful has been significant today. the understooding, again, is going to be the main concern. and as this hurricane makes landfall, unfortunately for the folks here, the worst will not be over. it is supposed to stall and linger over this area for the next s...
