The much anticipated Mandela fraud trial has been delayed by three months after it was postponed on Tuesday to allow former Dr WB Rubusana region chair Pumlani Mkolo to petition the constitutional court.

An application by suspended WB Rubusana regional chair Pumlani Mkolo to appeal a judge’s ruling on her recusal has been dismissed. Judge Igna Stretch further ruled that the anticipated Mandela fraud trial relating to millions of rand that were allegedly misused during the preparation of former statesman Nelson Mandela memorial service would start on Wednesday.
