The bill on the Belarusian People's Congress may get its first reading in the House of Representatives this year, Head of the Belarus President Administration Igor Sergeyenko said.
Igor Sergeyenko said: “Right now the world is experiencing serious economic problems, sanctions, and an aggravation of the international situation. Combat operations are taking place in a number of regions not far away from us. Today we discuss how we should preserve historical and cultural legacy."
Igor Sergeyenko said: “Youth policy is a priority direction of the entire state policy of our country. The relevant legislation has been put together and is being improved with this in mind. In our daily work we may sometimes forget to pay attention to individual matters relating to the realization of the youth policy.”
Igor Sergeyenko said: “The Belarusian national youth union BRSM is celebrating 20 years these days. 20 years is not so much at all. One can say it is a young age. Today the BRSM is a living organism. It is 350,000 best young people from various parts of the country, the most patriotic people."
"The government should acknowledge the activity of people, build appropriate work with them in order to have support in the form of a socially responsible civil society," Igor Sergeyenko emphasized.
