In the midst of reports of disqualification from the Assembly, JMM has said that Hemant Soren will remain the chief minister till 2024.
The searches were carried out after fresh information came to the fore following the questioning of Pankaj Mishra, a political aide of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and Mr Mishra's associate and muscleman Bachhu Yadav, the sources said.
The weapons were kept in an almirah at the home of Prem Prakash -- involved in the case.
Prem Prakash is alleged to have a role in every major tender and transfer posting of IAS and IPS officers.
The federal probe agency will cover about 17-20 premises in the state as part of the operation.
