Fire breaks out in hinterland home after garage mishap

The spokeswoman said there were no cars in the garage at the time and no one was injured in the blaze, but it appeared the rear of the house had been damaged by the fire. Multiple teams donned breathing apparatus to battle the fire and it was about an hour and a half before the first teams were released from the scene.
