The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has implemented an Implementation Order which restricts access and use of certain roads and Crown lands. Implementation Order For Kenora Fire #27 Ends Tuesday

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA The Implementation Order for Kenora Fire #27 will end at 12:01, May 25th. The Fire is located north of Minaki and has 10 crews working to put out hotspots. Its been mapped at 4,480 hectares in size and is still not under control. Kenora Dire# 25, located near Willard Lake, has 31 crews working on it and eight helicopters. While there has been minimal fire activity over the weekend the MNRF has been doing some infrared scanning to identify hot spots for fire crews.
