Biden Opening Another Migrant Facility For Kids in Florida, Here's What Kamala Harris Said About It in 2019

AP Photo/Susan Walsh
The Biden team has now announced a second “migrant facility” being reopened for kids in Homestead, Florida.
They are needing to reopen more facilities because of Joe Biden’s own words which illegal aliens have taken as an open invitation to come surging into the United States again.
But what’s incredibly ironic about the opening of this facility is that it’s the very same facility that Kamala Harris visited in 2019, along with a host of other Democratic candidates running for president including Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro, Kirsten Gillibrand, Marianne Williamson, Elizabeth Warren, John Hickenlooper, Bill de Blasio, and Tulsi Gabbard. Harris said that Homestead was a “human rights abuse” being committed by our government and said should be shut down then. She was literally giving our enemies propaganda to use against us with that nonsense.

Children are often abandoned by unrelated migrants who use them as cover for easy passage across the border
Joe Biden's administration is opening an immigrant overflow shelter for children in Texas as officials struggle to cope with an influx of unaccompanied migrant minors at the border.
The Biden admin said it plans on reactivating a
"temporary Influx Care Facility" in Carrizo Springs.
The center will potentially accommodate up to 700 migrant children over the next two weeks.
In a statement from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), officials said its Office of Refugee Resettlement division currently funds 13,200 licensed beds.

Biden Administration To Re-Open Illegal Immigrant Youth Facility | NewsRadio 740 KTRH

Feb 4, 2021
The Biden administration says they are reactivating a "temporary Influx Care Facility" in Carrizo Springs, Texas, to potentially accommodate up to 700 migrant children within the next two weeks.
“President Biden is preparing for his own crisis at the U.S. border, with 5,000 migrant children and counting: The number of unaccompanied minors trying to cross is rising while coronavirus distancing requirements have cut by half the number of useable beds in government shelters.”
There are currently about 5,000 illegal immigrant children in the care of Health and Human Services, that’s about twice the number compared to late November.
The facility in Carrizo Springs has been unoccupied since late 2019."

Biden administration to open overflow shelter for migrant children in Texas

The facility in Carrizo Springs has been unoccupied since late 2019.
"Initially, the Carrizo Springs ICF will accommodate approximately 700 children in hard-sided structures. Additional semi-permanent (soft-sided) capacity may be added if necessary, though ORR will always prioritize place children in hard-sided structures over semi-permanent structures," the statement read.
The statement said that the wellbeing of the children are the top priority and is going to run the temporary Influx Care Facility "to the same or higher standards as state-licensed facilities."
Biden on Tuesday signed a second spate of orders to undo his predecessor’s immigration policies. His orders on family separation, border security and legal immigration bring to nine the number of executive actions on immigration during his first two weeks in office.
