The gravity of what's happening here. we want to keep as many people informed as possible. i'm joined by ben wedeman, ivan watson is with us in the square tonight and faoud ajami and john king. i want to show you some of ivan watson's reporting from earlier today. this is some of the triage places that sprang up to take care of the wounded. let's take a look. >> we will die for our freedom! >> every few minutes, somebody comes in with a great big gash on his head from a rock.

>> how were you able to get out? >> we left about an hour after the sun went down, maybe an hour and a half. and we ended up walking down a street just to the left of -- of the square. and we went through several different checkpoints. three different military checkpoints, which were a lot more intense than they have been in the past few days. we were being patted down and searched through our things, but they let us through, no problem. >> so, were there pro-mubarak demonstrators at the place where you exited? >> yeah, there were. they were kind of grouped together and there wasn't any violen...
