The Nigeria Police Force has said that its operatives arrested a Chairman of one of the local government areas of Benue State and one other suspect involved in an alleged assassination plot. The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who made this known in a statement, said that preliminary investigations revealed that the arrested Local Government Chairman allegedly contracted a militia with the sinister intention to kill the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Aondona Hycenth Dajoh.
