Recently, NASA made a breakthrough when they managed to extract oxygen from carbon dioxide on the surface of Mars. At Chalmers University of Technology and Onsala Space Observatory, Sweden, there are lots of ongoing research activities related to production in space. Tomorrow is International Star Wars Day, and Chalmers is hosting a seminar, with a focus on – appropriately enough – production in space. ....
There will be more Lego products available next week on International Star Wars Day on May 4th. The R2-D2 model also comes with an R2-D2 minifigure and a special Lucasfilm 50th anniversary Lego Brick. The product stands at 31cm high, 20cm wide and 15cm deep. With our environmental budgets being squeezed we needed an innovative idea to help residents make a real difference to their local environment and to foster ongoing pride in the town. Whenever we spoke to residents, the perennial problem of litter kept rearing its head. We knew there was a particular problem in our historic market town centre which was falling short of looking its best for visitors and shoppers as we had cut back on pavement sweeping and litter picking.
