A five-member committee has been formed to probe the alleged harassment of IP college students during a fest last week. Students at Indraprastha College for Women have alleged that some men scaled the walls of the college and "harassed several students".
Delhi University on Monday constituted a five-member committee to inquire into alleged harassment of Indraprastha College for Women students during a cultural festival last week. The committee will be headed by Prakash Singh, director of South Delhi Campus, and has been asked to submit its report
The protest comes days after several men, who scaled the walls of the campus and got inside, allegedly harassed students during an event held as part of the annual fest.
Similar incidents have also been reported in some DU colleges in the past. In 2020, some people forced their way into Gargi College premises during a fest and molested the girl students, the DCW noted
