Ipca Labs share price has been falling after disappointing quarterly results. Brokerage firms are divided, with some optimistic about margin improvement and new launches, while others urge caution due to the stock's recent high valuation.
Given the volatility, which hit a fresh two-year high at around 24 ahead of the mega event - Lok Sabha election results, the Nifty 50 index is likely to consolidate further with immediate support at 22,800 and then 22,600, whereas 23,000 is expected to be the hurdle on the higher side.
The brokerage, initiating coverage on the stock with a buy recommendation, said that the company is well placed to deliver an organic revenue growth that is 2x the industry's pace over FY24-26E.
Indian shares rose as central bank rates remained stable. Nifty and Sensex gained 0.8%. HDFC Bank performed well. Analysts expect a sideways market. US markets closed higher, while European stocks fell due to Fed comments. Nagaraj Shetty says "the near-term trend of Nifty remains positive and the ongoing range movement is suggesting the possibility of sharp swing movement on either side. Hence a range expansion could be watched around 22600 and 22300 levels on either side.
