'The Voice' contestants Worth the Wait to be honored Friday in Centre
Worth the Wait — Tara, Jacy and Mia Matthews — will be honored with a welcome home parade in Centre starting at 4 p.m. Friday. The trio, who were contestants on the NBC television show “The Voice,” will receive a key to the city at the intersection of Iris Drive and East Main Street (between City Hall and the First Baptist Church). Following that presentation, the trio will be escorted to the Gridiron restaurant at 1464 W. Main St., where friends and family will gather to congratulate them.
