Users have occasionally reported problems in recent months, too. Google is aware of the issue and a fix is apparently rolling out now. Update: March 11, 2021 (05:11 PM ET): After word started to spread that “OK Google” detection had broken on some Wear OS watches, Google issued a statement acknowledging the problem. Now, it appears a fix is live. Users on Reddit are reporting that hotword detection is back on their watches. Google has reportedly acknowledged and is working on fixing “Hey Google” voice command activation for Wear OS. The search giant issued a statement stating it is working with partners to resolve the issue.
