A dairy farmer was shot and killed near Ghaggar Phatak within the jurisdiction of the Steel Town Police Station. KARACHI: A woman and her four-year-old daughter died in a fire that erupted in their house located in Sector 36-B, Zamanabad, Landhi No. 4 on Sunday. The area police said that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit at around 3am and engulfed the house causing burns to Mr Ibrahim, 36, his wife Ms Reema, 30, daughter Irum, 4, and son, Abrash, 5. According to police, the encounter took place in Baldia Town Sector 9-B within the remits of the Ittehad Town police station when a patrolling police team saw two suspects on a motorcycle mugging passers-by at gunpoint.
