Surveillance Video from Fatal Crash in Romulus A 35-year-old woman from Wayne was traveling east on Van Born and a semi-truck was headed south on Wayne Road when the two crashed the morning of April 12. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The footage showed that the woman, who was driving a Kia Spectra, ran a red light at the intersection. The woman's teenage daughter was a passenger in the car. She was critically injured but survived. The driver of the semi-truck also was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
