Vette Claims Title alongside Stairmandâs Record Breaking 8th 2021 National Surfing Championships presented by The Trusts Community Foundation -- 19-year-old Saffi Vette of Gisborne has claimed an emotional national title at Piha today, bringing much of the surfing community present to tears as she exited the water. Vette was joined by Raglanâs Billy Stairmand who broke his own record to claim an eighth title in the Menâs Division.
