Attorney Asks for Move of Murder Trial
Posted by scottsuhr on An attorney for an alleged murderer is asking to move the trial out of Black Hawk County, according to KWWL. The attorneys for 36 year old Lasondra Johnson say that she cannot receive a fair trial in Black Hawk County. The state is arguing, however, that there has not been enough widespread publicity to warrant such a move. Johnson is accused of murdering Jada Young-Mills back in November. She has pleaded not guilty and indications are that her attorneys will argue she acted in self defense.
