Before Rohit Shetty came up with the idea of a cop universe with Singham, Singham 2, Simmba and Sooryavanshi, it was the Housefull series which was considered an epic film franchise. The hilarious ride began in 2010 with Housefull, but most did not expect the second film — as is generally the case with sequels — to match the first one. Well, well. Housefull 2 can, without a doubt, be called the most entertaining film in the franchise so far. From its storyline and characters to the dance sequences and funny dialogues, the film has every element that makes for an enjoyable watch. After this one, it was all downhill for the next Housefull films. Housefull 4, in particular, was a dreadful outing.

Noted Punjabi Singer Sardool Sikander Dies at 60 of COVID Illness


CHANDIGARH — Acclaimed Punjabi singer Sardool Sikander passed away at Fortis hospital in Mohali near here in Punjab on Feb. 24. He was 60.
Sikander, who left behind a rich musical legacy, was admitted to the private hospital on Jan. 19 in a serious condition with complaints of low oxygen levels.
He was diabetic and was recently treated for Covid-19, said the hospital in a statement, and had undergone renal transplant in 2016 and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty in 2003.
Known for his hit songs such as “Ek charkha gali de wich dha laya” and “Sanu ishq brandi char gayi,” Sikander had made his first appearances on radio and television in the early 1980s with the album, “Roadways di Laari.”

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh informed on Twitter about the demise of the singer. Many singers and celebrities also paid tributes to the late singer on social media.
