Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have "regrets" over the unfortunate timing of their interview with Oprah Winfrey, but insist they had no control over when it was aired.
Their explosive interview aired while Prince Philip was in hospital and Harry's grandfather has since passed away.
But while Meghan and Harry regret the timing of the interview, it is something they felt they had to do, a source close to the pair told Heat Magazine.
Harry had not seen the Duke of Edinburgh in over a year following his decision to quit the Royal Family and his life in the UK.

Deuxmoi and the Rise of User-Submitted Gossip Channels

Do you remember when a cardboard cutout of Ana de Armas was tossed in the garbage for a photo op, setting off waves of speculation about whether she and Ben Affleck had broken up? There was no press release or statement, just a symbol for us to read into (and meme). It kind of summed up celebrity gossip in 2020.
Over the last year, as celebrities struggled to stay relevant during the pandemic, gossip took on a different role. Even during a global health crisis, celebs couldn’t quite turn it off, and are definitelynot just like us. More people—including celebs—were bored and scrolling.

So a little strange thing about me – while looking for lovers on the traditional dating apps, I found myself on LinkedIn and started dancing on LinkedIn, which then went viral. If you are looking for light entertainment, just search #DancingDiana and you’ll find my 1,000 dancing videos on LinkedIn. Not even joking. But here are some funny videos I always go to during a lockdown.

The warring brothers, who have barely spoken since Megxit more than a year ago — released the tributes within half an hour of each other.
William yesterday shared a poignant picture of his seven-year-old son Prince George with the Duke — who he described as “extraordinary”.
He also pledged to honour the Duke of Edinburgh through his own service to the Queen.
The grieving Duke of Cambridge described yesterday how his grandfather was an “enduring presence” during the “good times and the hardest days”.

Ahmanson Theatre to reopen Nov. 30 with 'A Christmas Carol'

Twenty months. That’s how long the Ahmanson will have been dark when, if all goes as hoped, Center Theatre Group finally reopens its doors Nov. 30.
The company is expected to announce Tuesday revised plans for a 2021-22 season that launches later than many theatergoers may expect, especially given California’s recent announcement targeting June 15 for businesses and venues to reopen fully. But given scheduling, casting, rehearsing and all the other complexities of theater, not to mention a pandemic that is not entirely over, Center Theatre Group plans to restart not in August with director Daniel Fish’s Tony Award-winning revival of “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!,” as had been previously announced, but in the holiday season with “A Christmas Carol.”

LONDON —The death of Prince Philip, the steadfast consort at Queen Elizabeth II's side for more than 70 years, comes at a time when the royal family is under intense public scrutiny.
It brings the next generation of royals into sharp focus, with observers questioning how the traditional institution might take shape in younger hands.
Modernizing the monarchy may mean a smaller number of working royals; more virtual engagements, which began during the coronavirus pandemic; and less prominence given to set-piece ceremonial royal calendar events, in line with trends in other European royal households, said Carolyn Harris, a royal historian and author.

The 27-year-old composer and arranger wrote some new lyrics and added some strings and guitar. He recorded himself singing the new arrangement with full theater kid gusto, using TikTok’s greenscreen tool to set the scene in a generic supermarket aisle. The entire process took about an hour. When Mertzlufft posted the video to TikTok, he included a caption as he hits the last note: “This is 100% the end of Act 1.”
