DENNIS SANDY Controversial Lands and Country Planning Minister, Dr. Dennis Sandy a man who has embarrassed the Maada Bio Government so much and is abhorred by even ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party ( SLPP ) supporters for his callous destruction of people’s homes and seizure of lands belonging to private citizens almost marred the much-awaited Constituency 110 Bye-elections in Freetown last Saturday and should by now have been fired by President Maada Bio. In presenting its report on the much-heated bye-elections, the National Elections Watch ( NEW ) issued a serious complaint about Minister Sandy. According to NEW , Sandy stormed a polling station at Kent Village with thugs and disrupted the work of the National Elections Commission ( NEC ). One of the thugs even threatened the life of a district electoral commission.
