Tourism Department alongwith the district administration Jammu has made elaborate arrangements for smooth conduct of the festival.
The festival hosted a variety of programmes which inter alia included Cultural events depicting local folk dances organised through J&K Academy of Art, Culture and languages, food stalls of Dogra cuisines, departmental stalls of Handicraft, Handloom, Industries & Commerce, JKTDC and Agriculture Department etc. The main highlight of the festival is cultural events depicting local folklore.
The festival was inaugurated jointly by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Sanjeev Verma and Director Tourism Jammu, Dr. Naseem Javed Chowdhary, in presence of Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation, Purnima Sharma and other officers of Tourism Department, District administration and Peer Kho Mandir Committee.

JAMMU: A full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day celebrations was held on Sunday amidst all COVID SOPs at Maulana Azad Stadium here.
Contingents of Police, Army, Para-military Forces, Sports, presented the March Past while Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma took the salute.
The participants from various schools also presented cultural items whereas Dare Devil team of J&K Police was the center of attraction. All the participants and guests from the government machinery and police, Army, were seen in masks and followed all the SOPs in place in view of COVID pandemic.

JAMMU, Dec 15: Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha today visited Purmandal- Utterbehni area and Mansar-Surinsar twin lakes to review the progress on comprehensive plans being put in place for the development of these religious and tourist destinations and issued on spot instructions for speedy development of the area.
During his visit, Sinha took stock of the project for development of the Purmandal- Utterbehni religious tourism circuit under Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive (PRASAD).
He took a detailed review of developmental projects at Purmandal which included construction of paved path/track to the temple complex, construction of view points, up-gradation of bathing ghats, installation of focus light and poles with high mast lights and solar lights.

JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha today visited Purmandal- Utterbehani area and Mansar-Surinsar twin lakes to review the progress on Comprehensive plans being put in place for the development of these religious and tourist destinations and issued on spot instructions for speedy development of the area.
He was accompanied by Principal Secretary to Lt Governor Nitishwar Kumar; Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma; IGP Jammu; Mukesh Singh; Secretary Jal Shakti Department, M Raju; Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sushma Chauhan; Secretary Tourism, Sarmad Hafeez; Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Piyush Singla; Deputy Commissioner Samba, Rohit Khajuria besides senior officers from Tourism, PWD, Jal Shakti, Surinsar-Mansar Development Authority, and other departments were present.
