If I were to name one Malaysian song that perfectly describes Malaysia’s fiery spirit, it would be none other than the classic ‘Fikirkan Boleh’ track made by the 90’s band called Metropolitan.

Jika kau fikirkan kau boleh, kau hampir boleh melakukan. Jika kau fikiran ragu-ragu, usahamu tidak menentu….” goes the opening lyrics to the song that any ‘anak’ Malaysia would definitely know by heart.
With the simple message that no dream is impossible if you believe in yourself, the iconic song also became an inspiration for our nation’s spirited ‘Malaysia Boleh’ slogan – an iconic tagline that we won’t stop saying out loud anytime soon.
