What’s Good: the randomness of it all. I don’t remember the last time I saw such a fulfilling no brainer comedy after Hindi film Dhamaal.
What’s Bad: the downwards slide in the second half, but a capable Naveen doesn’t let it touch the level it can’t be brought back to fun from.
Loo Break: you can pause this film anywhere, do your work, return; it will still be the same hilarious. The makers don’t want you to sit under any pressure, and that includes the natural one too.

Jathi Ratnalu Story
Jathi Ratnalu is the story of Srikanth (Naveen Polishetty) who owns a ladies emporium in his hometown Jogipet. His close friends Ravi (Rahul Ramakrishna) and Sekhar (Priyadarshi) are careless people and are hated by everyone in the town. Srikanth decides to move to the city for a great career and his friends follow the footsteps of Srikanth. They land into trouble after the three friends get involved in a murder attempt. Jathi Ratnalu Analysis
Jathi Ratnalu is packed with entertainment all around. The first half of the film takes time to set the premises. The characterizations of all the lead actors Srikanth, Ravi and Sekhar are well established. The one-liners are the major highlights of the film and Naveen Polishetty nails it in his own style with his comic timing. The songs are good and the interval twist is decent. The entire first half of Jathi Ratnalu is good and thoroughly entertaining.

Jathi Ratnalu Movie Review: This Naveen Polishetty starrer is a blockbuster comedy

It's difficult for Tollywood to appreciate Jathi Ratnalu fully. It's because, in a significant way, the film mocks Telugu cinema. It's an unapologetic satire that has its lead man (Naveen Polishetty) deliver a hilarious monologue during a court scene, a segment that makes it clear that writer-director Anudeep KV, supported by producer Nag Ashwin (the director of the breakout biopic Mahanati), doesn't mind taking satire to the doorsteps of the cliches-obsessed film industry. The backdrop of the film could have been a film studio and the comedy would have worked just fine - the way Shah Rukh Khan's Om Shanti Om did.
