Lone Tree returns to the court with 49-17 win over Tri-County
By Jeff Yoder Finally playing in their first game of the season Thursday, it took the Lone Tree girls a few minutes to find a rhythm offensively. After Maddie Jacque ended the early field goal drought with a steal and a 3-point play, the shots started falling. The Lady Lions finished the first quarter on a 16-2 run and went on to a 49-17 win over Tri-County in the season opener. “We definitely looked like a ball team that just hadn't played in a while," Lone Tree coach Ryan Shelman said. "We're going to find our stride, we're going to figure it out.”
