R Bar Asbury Park Is Open

The long anticipated opening of R Bar in Asbury Park took place this weekend, just in time for Mother's Day, and from all indications it was a huge success.
This was the first open weekend for the R Bar, and all you have to to to get excited about it is to check out the menu. There are so many great options, you're biggest challenge might be making a final decision.

I was scrolling through Facebook one day and I came across Pete “Mugs” Oliver or Chef "Petey Mugs” as his friends and customers know him. Instead of promoting his own BBQ catering business, Big Time BarBQue, he was singing the praises of other local businesses and asking people to support
them. In a dog-eat-dog world that brand of kindness caught my attention, especially during COVID.

New Jersey is re-opening and I've got mixed feelings (Opinion)

How does a 100% reopening of restaurants, gyms, theaters, stores and amusements parks in New Jersey make you feel?
Gov Murphy said yesterday that he will lift most restrictions by May 19. I should feel excited right?
Part of me wants to do backflips
(I want so badly to be back to normal) but the other part of me spent so much time being scared for the past year it makes me wonder why is May 19 the day COVID can't get me anymore?
I have to say some of these rules seem so arbitrary. For example, the ban on bar seating will be lifted this Friday, May 7, and dance floors will be allowed for private events.

bananas on a boat. This brings crazy bad luck and I've seen this myth be proven true with my own eyes. I unknowingly brought bananas on my friend's boat in 2019 and for the rest of the Summer, he experienced major mechanical problems.

And you could insult beachgoers in many different ways. (I learned this the hard way)
