QUOGUE VILLAGE — An area resident called Quogue Village Police on April 7 reporting he’d been the victim of a scam. It appears someone hacked a local driveway company’s email. The victim received an email seeking payment that he thought came from the company. The writer asked that payment be made through the Venmo online payment service.
