KDF Officer Arrested After Kidnapping Businessman

A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer was among four people arrested for allegedly kidnapping a businessman at Kiawara Trading Centre in Nyeri County.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Friday, December 18, disclosed that officers based in Nyeri conducted an operation to nab the culprits.
The detectives claimed that the four lured the businessman through his employee s mobile phone.
Upon arriving where the gang’s vehicle lay in wait, the victim was bundled inside and whisked towards Nyeri town, DCI explained.
