Done in this case, although of course one has to be careful not to lay the blame on the police here, because they were clearly doing the best with the tools they had, or one would presume that, but the point is when that was discredited, there was a bit more focus on how the police were operating rather than whether in fact amanda knox had carried out that crime. so much of the evidence, shep, circumstantial. and there's a lot of it. and people can piece together a story that makes her guilty or innocent, but again it's not as polarized as it was. italians are saying it's better to release her...
