The Noida Police have arrested a gangster allegedly involved in the day-light murder of an Air India crew member here after a gunfight on Tuesday morning, officials said. The suspect had carried out recce before the killing of Suraj Mann near the Sector 104 market on January 19 and worked on instructions of jailed gangster Kapil Mann, according to the police.
The police team fired almost 11-12 rounds even as the gangsters fired back. Eventually, both gangsters, Abdul Kadir and Kuldeep, were caught after the latter sustained gunshot injuries.
Two men were arrested in connection with the daylight shooting of an Air India employee outside a gym in Sector 104 on Friday afternoon. The murder is linked to a decade-old plot rivalry between two families in Delhi.
On Friday, Suraj was shot dead in broad daylight at an upscale market in Noida’s Sector 104 — he had finished his workout at Anytime Fitness gym and was sitting in his car when three men on a bike pumped bullets into him.
