According to media reports, Waman passed away on Monday morning due to age related issues at the age of 87. National Award-winning Bollywood film editor, Waman Bhonsle passed away today at the age of 87, due to age-related issues. With a film career of more than four decades in the industry, Bhonsle has worked on several hit films, including ‘Mausam’, ‘Hero’, ‘Karz’, ‘Ram Lakhan’, ‘Saudagar’, ‘Agneepath’ and more.
Meanwhile, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar took to his Twitter handle to mourn the loss of the ace film editor. Paying a tribute to his contributions to the craft, he wrote, “Sad to know demise of Master Film Editor Waman Bhonsle ji.I was fortunate to have worked with him during my initial days in my career. He will always be remembered for his craft in films like Aandhi,Karz Mr.India,Ram Lakhan, Agneepath, Saudagar, Ghulam & many more.”
