Concord Police Department continues green effort, adds hybrid to fleet
The Police Department replaced another patrol vehicle with a new Ford hybrid Police Interceptor Utility. Town Manager Stephen Crane told the Select Board during its virtual Jan. 25 meeting the replacement is part of the Department’s effort to have a green fleet. “This is helpful in achieving some of our sustainability goals,” Crane said. “Right now there’s not an all-electric Interceptor that we’re aware of that is ready for the type of use that many police departments use it for.
