(Photo: submitted by Samantha) A 27-year-old man from Halifax is facing charges after a police officer was reportedly assaulted in Moncton. RCMP say they responded to a report of a disturbance at a convenience store on Killam Drive on March 6th. A man and a woman believed to be involved in the incident were located walking nearby. Police identified the man as a person of interest in other ongoing investigations, and attempted to arrest him, but a struggle broke out.
