I think the message overall for people is pretty strong that if you're going to have an operation, you need to do research and find the very best hospital for that specific operation. you want to make sure the doctors are doing a lot of these operations but also the nurses and the ancillary staff. everybody else does these types of procedures so they can all take care of the patient after the operation. some hospitals scored very high in heart procedures but maybe didn't score so high in knee replacements. so look for the specific procedure. don't just trust the name of the hospital or a city ...
