Vaishali Rameshbabu and her younger brother R Praggnanandhaa rewrote the record books by becoming the first-ever Grandmaster siblings pair in history.
Vaishali, at 22, secured the milestone by crossing 2500 FIDE ratings during the IV El Llobregat Open in Spain. Praggnanandhaa had previously earned the Grandmaster title at the age of 12 in 2018, becoming the second-youngest Grandmaster.
