Ludhiana: Figures from the regional transport office suggest that around 3,000 e-rickshaws have been plying on city roads without registration.
The Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday alleged that bribe money generated from corruption in a Delhi Jal Board (DJB) contract was 'passed on' as election funds to the Aam Aadmi Party that rules the national capital.
Delhi Minister Atishi criticized the Enforcement Directorate, stating that the officials did not carry out any searches or find any relevant papers during the raids. She claimed that they only took two Gmail account downloads and three family phones.
The federal agency said it had found incriminating documents and digital evidence in connection with the alleged corruption case during its searches in Delhi, Varanasi and Chandigarh.
The agency had, on January 31, arrested Jagdish Kumar Arora (ex-chief engineer of DJB) and Anil Kumar Aggarwal (a businessman) in the case under the Prevention of Money laundering Act (PMLA) | Latest News India
