Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, on Sunday visited the family of slain Special Police Officer (SPO) Ishfaq Ahmad and paid heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family who lost two family members in a terrorist attack, the police said.
His brother was also injured in the attack, the police said.

Militants fired upon Special Police Officer Ishfaq Ahmed and his brother, Umar Jan on Saturday. While Ahmad succumbed to his injuries on Saturday itself, Jan, who was being treated at a nearby hospital, passed away on Sunday.
