Bihar's former minister and BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain on Sunday claimed that the party will win 40 seats from the state in the next Lok Sabha polls.
The polling was held on November 3, and 52.3 per cent votes were cast.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, whose RJD on Sunday retained Mokama assembly seat but failed to wrest from the BJP Gopalganj constituency, losing it by a whisker, asserted that the outcome marked a success of their "experiment".
