32-year-old Nigerian Jumps Into River In Kwara Due To Depression, Frustration With Life
A man, identified as Peter Ajayi, aged 32, on Sunday jumped into the Asa River in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital. The river is behind All Saints Anglican Church, Taiwo Isale Road in Ilorin, which is in Nigeria’s North Central region. SaharaReporters gathered that Peter was depressed and had expressed frustration with the life he was living before he allegedly committed suicide. The state fire service spokesman, Hassan Adekunle, said the incident occurred at about 11:45 a.m.
