Locals and opposition party candidates in the Milton byelection gathered Saturday ahead of the vote next week to voice their opposition to a proposed quarry in the area.
The provincial by-election for the Milton riding is one week away. The Milton seat was vacated when former conservative MPP Parm Gill announced in January he was going to run federally.
Advance voting begins April 21.
