The Commission issued its long-awaited Proposal for a revision of the Regulation on classification, labelling, and packaging of chemicals. The Proposal is currently subject to a feedback period until 3 March 2023. Entities may submit comments through the Commission’s portal.
The European Commission proposed on 19 December a revised Regulation on classification, labelling and packaging of chemicals (CLP) and introduced new hazard classes for endocrine disruptors and other harmful chemical substances to better protect people and the environment from hazardous chemicals.
