About this. this is what they want to hear about college affordability. it s a big issue with broad appeal, david. i want to talk about how much hillary clinton is appealing. the fervor with which they are supporting her. bernie sanders had 19,000 people inside, 9,000 outside. hillary clinton has had intimate events and even at her launch speech, she didn t use the overflow. it was empty. what does that say to you? that s the largest crowd of the entire campaign, republican or democratic candidate. anyone. that is it. he s drawn the largest crowd at this campaign. so that is a feather in his cap. congratulations for that. where does he go now? with the message about taking on the billionaire class which he believes is corrupting american ....

Be significant backlash if other fellow republicans continue to chime in and say they he needs to be you know silenced or he needs to you know speak lessor not get as much attention, or not even be embraced by the party? i don t know that we ll see a backlash. for instance jeb bush had been sort of vocal early on in opposing his comments that he made in his launch speech about mexicans coming across the border. and jeb bush said that these were sort of out of bounds and we don t see him suffering at the polls for that. he s within the margin of error there. what i do think though is you re going to see all of the other republican candidates sort of decide and strat jazz how to handle trump. and beyond on the campaign trail because some folks are fearful of sort of offending his supporters if they take him on too directly. and yet, there are other folks ....

Needs to be competitive there. it makes it very difficult to win the white house. the path through the other battleground states is very narrow. they almost have to run the table. that s what helped prevenlt mitt romney winning in 2012. are we hearing from donald trump, discussions of other topics? we have talked so much about this element of his launch speech. is he talking about other things? are they getting through at least? i don t think they are getting through. he talks a lot about china, which will be a big issue in the campaign. china is going to be a challenge to the united states geopolitically. it is already an economic challenge. trump really is the only person discussing that. he has a lot of business links with china. that s not coming through. he talked about race with an interview with cnn s don lemon. he praised the presidnt for his speech down in charleston when he sung amazing grace. the fact that some of these inflammatory remarks are going ....

Is he a threat? we re not sure. we will see how he organizes. he is out there in iowa for the next three or four days. i see young volunteers out there with clipboards signing up people s e-mails and phone numbers. if they can harness this he could be a threat. she s probably more electable in the long run. what are you hearing from inside the clinton camp? how worried are they? i think they are worried in that they would like that enthusiasm. it reinforced the vulnerability of hillary clinton. they are sensitive to the fact that there isn t as much enthusiasm that she doesn t have overflow crowds. even for her launch speech. i think that this could be worse for hillary clinton. he really doesn t take big shots at her. he is running this very kind of civil campaign. he doesn t want to look at donald trump. he calls jeb bush loser and weak. you don t see bernie sanders doing that. we will see if that happens. ....
