More players needed across all age groups
As preseason kicks off, female clubs in the AFL North East Border competition are urging local girls and women to join up.

After 2020 stopped the season in its tracks, clubs are working to build their teams back up to their full numbers again before the first round on Sunday, 11 April.
"Some clubs are experiencing slow numbers in particular age groups," says League Operations Manager Matthew Elliott.
"Clubs are definitely on the lookout for new players, and also welcoming back returning players as well."
There will be eight teams in the league this year, after the Wodonga Bulldogs was added to the fixture. They will be competing for the premiership flag against the Yarrawonga Pigeons, Alpine Lions (based in Whorouly), Lavington Panthers, Murray Felines (based in Rutherglen), Thurgoona Bulldogs, Wangaratta Rovers and Wodonga Raiders.
