TWO musicians produced a single based on the classic hit Do They Know It’s Christmas? to raise money for Manorlands. Ben Jordan, from Cullingworth, and Keighley man Liam Jarvis had been taking part in the Facebook Live Sing for Manorlands initiative – during which musicians perform most weekends – since it began early in the first lockdown. Around £4,000 has so far been raised through donations for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice. But Ben and Liam decided to add to the fundraising with their festive offering – which can be heard at youtube.com/watch?v=QbP37RtB0ko. Ben’s dad, James Jordan, who manages both musicians, said: “Liam is a fantastic lyricist – so he wrote the lyrics – and Ben reproduced a track from Do They Know It’s Christmas? to reflect the times we are living in. ....
