ABC Australia It’s been a big and experimental year for the Australian network. The pubcaster promoted Libbie Doherty to head of children’s production, with a remit to commission more than 350 hours of animation and live-action content. Running with that mission, ABC ordered transgender tween series First Day and Cheeky Little Media’s animated show Kangaroo Beach. It also co-commissioned a second season of popular series Bluey with BBC Studios, and launched the DisRupted film-based funding program for creatives with disabilities. Archive
