Out there. my sense the solution is not to change the libel laws. we don't need any more litigation in this country and judges deciding what is true or false and at the end of the day the marketplace i think has a powerful effect. if you have reporters who are doing bad journalism putting false information out there, i think over time people will realize that is not a trustworthy source and that they simply can't be relied upon to give fair and accurate news reporting. so my sense is that there are other ways to address this problem rather than by strengthening the libel laws because we can al...
