The spirit of giving: Volunteer Strathcona
Article content As the Christmas season approaches, I am reminded of how this time of year is a time for giving. Of course, that can mean the tradition of giving gifts to friends and family, but it also is a time of year that brings out the charitable spirit in Albertans. It is a time when we think of those less fortunate; we look for ways to give back to our community. With that in mind, I’d like to highlight Volunteer Strathcona, an outstanding local organization that supports local charities and causes, as well as local residents in Strathcona County.
