District nurses deliver care – and gifts

DISTRICT nursing teams have been delivering festive cheer – as well as care.
Staff from Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust helped distribute boxes of gifts put together by the charity QED Foundation, to elderly people living alone.
Lisa Singleton, leader of the nursing teams, said: “We know just how lonely some elderly people can feel at this time of year – and even more so this year when it’s difficult to meet-up with family or friends.
“It’s been a real pleasure to support the charity and put a smile on the faces of some of our patients, who might otherwise have received little Christmas cheer.” ....
