A Lismore court case involving an elderly man who allegedly sexually and indecently assaulted children has been stalled as the court continues to wait on health reports.
The health of the 82-year-old man, accused of sexual and indecent assault of children in the Mullumbimby area in the 1980s was previously brought into question during his February court mention.
Despite a psychologist and medical report ordered for his next court mention, the Justice Health report was still unavailable at his Lismore Local Court mention on Wednesday.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested when he arrived at Sydney International Airport from the Philippines in October 2019.

Not many people get to get a taste of working in the justice system but for Daniel Haig, he's about to complete the trifecta.
The former South Australian Police Officer handed in his Sheriffs uniform on Friday after four years of working at Lismore Court House and now he's ready to embark on his new role as a criminal lawyer.
Having grown up in Kyogle, Mr Haig said while working as a police officer, he realised he'd rather be practising law so he enrolled in a law degree studying part time at the University of New England in 2014.

Update 4.30pm: A Northern Rivers police officer has walked free from court after being found not guilty of a charge of common assault.
Lismore Local Court began hearing evidence in the case against Senior Constable Michial Luke Greenhalgh, 39, in November last year.
The hearing continued before Magistrate Michael Dakin this week.
The officer pleaded not guilty to a charge of common assault, which the prosecution alleged he committed by way of six of 18 baton strikes he inflicted upon a naked and drug-affected 16-year-old boy in Lateen Lane, Byron Bay in the early hours of January 11, 2018.
Magistrate Michael Dakin has this afternoon dismissed the charge, finding the prosecution had not proved beyond a reasonable doubt Sen-Constable Greenhalgh's actions were not a reasonable use of force.

A learner driver has claimed she is "paying for something" she did not do after having her licence appeal denied and learners permit disqualified for 14 days.
Ruci Nasakuka had her learners permit disqualified after racking up four driving offences on her learners licence.
Ms Nasakuka told the court that while she had four offences to her name, she was not driving the car for those all of those offences.
Magistrate Jeff Linden said in response that she must have been present for "at least one" of those offences because the police handed her a speeding ticket.
